Option 1

General Posting


Hiring authorities use the Job Order Template to create a profile of their company, the position, and the requirements for the position. Candidates can then access the posting by logging onto and clicking the “Find a Job” section of the site. If a candidate is interested in learning more about the position or believes he or she meets the qualifications, they fill out and submit an on-line application. Employers will then be notified of interested candidates.

With the Option 1 – General Postings, offers no pre-screening of candidates. Once a posting has run for 30 days, will notify the hiring authority to give them the option of removing the posting from, or renewing it for another 30 days for a fee of $100.00.

In addition, posts with an up-to date list of our open positions are promoted to jobseekers through many different networks: 

  • Job Flash emails distributed monthly to individuals in our database that includes over 14,000 marine industry candidates
  • Social Media Flash Monday posts on BMG social media sites twice a month
  • Posts on job boards of educational/ trade schools where they are viewed by students and alumni
  • BMG website
