CareerBoat.com offers 3 options as you look to identify and attract the right people to your key openings.
Hiring authorities use the Job Order Template to create a profile of their company, the position, and the requirements for the position. Candidates can then access the posting by simply logging onto careerboat.com and clicking the Look for Jobs section of the site. If a candidate believes he or she meets the qualifications of the position, they fill out and submit an on-line application directly to the prospective employer. This way the hiring authority doesn’t have to wade through various resume formats, worry about viruses in attachments, cover letters, etc. The on-line application form answers the key questions in deciding if a candidate is worth pursuing. (view Application example)
With the General Postings option, Careerboat.com offers no pre-screening of candidates. Once a posting has run for 30 days, careerboat.com will notify the hiring authority to give them the option of removing the posting from careerboat, or renewing it for another 30 days for a fee of $100.00.

Like the General Postings option, hiring authorities use the job order template to create a profile of their company, the position, and the requirements for the position. The difference is that, in this case, postings are confidential (company’s identification is guarded) and careerboat.com acts as a filter and pre-screens all applicants. Only candidates who meet the general qualifications of the posted position are forwarded to the hiring authority. This submittal includes a resume, candidate biography, a list of professional references and a scored behavioral profile. Careerboat also responds to all applicants on the behalf of the prospective employer.
Once a posting has run for 30 days, careerboat.com will notify the hiring authority and give them the option of removing the posting from careerboat, or renewing it for another 30 days for a fee of $150.00, or exploring out retained search option.
This option calls on careerboat’s parent company, Brooks Marine Group, and their core competency of true strategic search and recruitment. Brooks conducts a Needs Analysis Profile with the client, and then maps out a process of identifying, attracting and retaining high-caliber talent. Brooks Marine Group insures timelines are set, candidates are pre-screened thoroughly, interviews are coordinated/travel arranged, references are checked, counter offers are covered and relocation assistance is provided. To learn more about this option, view our Search Process page.
If no candidates are hired through this process, Brooks Marine Group refunds the entire $5000 deposit.
